Prairie Margins presents Unheard Ink: A Launch Party for New Issue

We have planned a launch party for our upcoming 49th issue on Friday, November 16th, in conjunction with the 12th annual Winter Wheat Festival of Writing. The name of the launch event is Unheard Ink: Speakeasy and Carry a Big Pen. Coffee and snacks will be provided. There may also be fake mustaches to wear! We will be contacting contributors published in the new edition to read their work, and afterwards there will be an open mic session. We want to stylize the event in the vein of Beatnik expression and manner. Unheard Ink will begin at 9pm and run until 11pm.

In other news, we have been looking into several fundraising events, including a bake sale on October 25th, a raffle, and a Music Melee in the works.

More news to come. Stay cool folks.
